ENGLAND FUTSAL TALENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME 2025/26
This is your chance to be part of developing the next generation of England Futsal talent.
England Futsal are excited to announce the expansion of our Talent Development Programme for the 2025/26 season and the opening of applications for Lead and Assistant Coach positions. These roles will support both our men’s and women’s pathways at the U19 and newly introduced U17 levels.
Over the past two years, we’ve proudly re-established the Men’s National Team and the Men’s U19 National Team, and launched the first-ever Women’s National Team. The England Futsal Talent Development Programme plays a vital role in identifying and nurturing future national team players, providing a structured pathway for young talent.
Talent Programme Expansion Structure
Key Details for the England Futsal Talent Development Programme 2025/26:
- The England Futsal Talent Development Programme will be delivered across two regional hubs (locations to be confirmed).
- Each hub will provide dedicated development for both men’s and women’s U19 and U17 age groups.
- We are recruiting Lead and Assistant Coaches for both hubs to be responsible for delivery across both age groups.
- Each age group and gender will support up to 25 players, meaning the programme will benefit up to 200 players nationwide.
- Player assessments will take place during Autumn 2025, with the full programme starting shortly thereafter.
- Men’s programme will prepare for the 2027 UEFA U19 European Championships.
- We await to hear from UEFA regarding future plans for a Women’s U19 competition.
Programme Provision Includes:
- 12 high-quality training sessions.
- 6 classroom-based learning sessions.
- Strength & conditioning support.
- Nutrition and wellbeing support.
- A series of online modules to support holistic player development.
These coaching roles will be overseen by Sion Kitson, Head of Development & Technical.
