Two Player Core Moves – An exploration of vertical and horizontal dualities within an international context.

The England Futsal Coach Developer Team are pleased to provide this FREE ‘In Person’ CPD event for coaches to attend.

Taking place at the University of Bedfordshire Sports Arena this event is primarily aimed at coaches who are coaching in the women’s game or who want to know more about the women’s game. This is very much an interactive coach development event where coaches will listen, share views, exchange ideas as well as observe the England Futsal National Women’s Team and coaches in training. Moreover, a key aim of the event is to help coaches consider how learning would apply to their own context and the player’s that they support.

Outline of content to be covered on the day:

• Overview of the Pride DNA and the current Women’s programme
• Learning from the FIFA World qualifying stage in Moldova
• Highlighting key concepts related to vertical and horizontal dualities (two player core moves)
• Introducing the session plan of the Women’s National Team Coaches and linking it back to your coaching context
• Observe training of Women’s National Team (including opportunities to hear from National Team coaches during and post-training)
• Debrief, share & discuss coach observations
• Review key messages to consolidate learning
• Opportunity to watch the afternoon session (optional)
