The Pride DNA – Introducing a Player Development Vision for England Futsal

The Pride DNA is our vision for the development of the future player and aims to support coaches to consider key aspects of development regarding the next generation of players to represent England on the international stage. England Futsal are excited to share this vision with coaches across the futsal community and beyond and we invite you to join us for this online introductory session.

Within this workshop England Futsal National Team Coaches, Pete, Sion & John will introduce coaches to the 4 key areas of the Pride DNA; Technical Excellence, Game Understanding, Physical Dominance, Emotional Intelligence, outlining the fundamentals within each one explaining why they matter to us in relation to the future international game and player development.

Moreover, the session will share with coaches how they are bringing each cornerstone to life from a performance and talent development context sharing insights around planning, practice design and player-coach interactions. Moreover, Pete, Sion & John will look to connect the 4 key areas and the fundamentals that sit within each one back to your coaching context helping you to consider how they can inform your practice and the player environments you have a responsibility for.

Who is this event aimed at?

This online workshop is aimed at all coaches interested in learning more about England Futsal’s vision for player development, particularly coaches who are working with young aspiring players. This workshop does not intend to tell coaches how to coach or what to coach, but merely inform coaches of England Futsal’s direction of travel so coaches have a greater awareness of how they can connect player development and coaching practice to the Pride DNA and the development of future England Futsal players.
