Following a remarkable 6 months, Luis Melville has made the tough decision to step down as England Futsal Coach Development Lead to allow him to focus on his own coaching journey. We are incredibly grateful to Luis for his incredible contribution during our inaugural 2022-23 season and are indebted to him for the solid foundation he has built for our Coach CPD opportunities moving forward. We wish him all in the best in his next chapter!
Following on from Luis’ achievements, the FA have trusted us with a broader remit with which to support coaches for the 2023-24 season. This will include coach mentoring and we are delighted that Matt Fejos has joined the team to lead this work area for 2023-24.
Matt began work in September and is responsible for planning & delivering Coach CPD workshops, coordinating our new mentoring offer and development relationships with key stakeholders to increase our opportunities to support coaches. Today we are opening applications for 4 regional mentoring roles to complete our Coach Development team.
